Clinton--While most of the William Penn cross country runners took a week off, Ashley Burk (So., Bussey, Twin Cedars HS) and Adam Gross (Sr., Herculaneum, Herculaneum HS) competed and ran well at the Franciscan Invitational, Saturday. Burk set a personal record in the 5K race, finishing 25th of 45 runners in 22:38.5, while Gross finished 16th of 66 runners on the 8K course in a time of 28:33.1.
