Oskaloosa--The William Penn soccer teams look to move up in the Midwest Classic Conference standings as they face Viterbo, Saturday. The Statesmen (4-9, 2-3) take on the V-Hawks in LaCrosse, Wis., at 1 p.m., while the Lady Statesmen (8-5-2, 4-1) conclude the day with a contest at 3 p.m. The men are 1-3 against Viterbo, winning last year's contest, 4-3. The women are a perfect 4-0 against the V-Hawks, outscoring them 16-0 in the head-to-head series. On Monday, Nate Turnbull (Jr., Knoxville, Knoxville HS) scored Penn's lone goal at the 36:17 mark as the Statesmen fell to The Franciscan, 2-1. On Wednesday, the Penn women fought cold, rain, and a determined Graceland offense to a 0-0 tie with the #8 team in the nation.
