Davenport--The Lady Statesmen soccer team had few answers Saturday in falling 2-0 to St. Ambrose in Midwest Collegiate Conference action.
Penn (4-9-3, 1-5-1 MCC), who was outshot 21-4, was led by four players with one shot apiece (all on goal).
The Queen Bees won by scoring in the 35th and 67th minutes.
Ashley Becko (Sr., Litchfield Park, Ariz., Phoenix CC) recorded a career-high 11 saves in the loss.
Next: Penn concludes its MCC slate next Saturday by traveling to Cedar Rapids to face Mount Mercy in MCC action at 1 p.m.
