The Lady Statesmen (3-2), who have now won three straight in regulation for the first time since 2005, took a bit to get started but once they did, the rout was on.

Hajicek concluded the first half's scoring with an unassisted goal in the 23rd minute to give the hosts a 3-0 lead at the break.
Erin Dickey (Sr., Collinsville, Ill., Southwestern Ill. CC) pushed the advantage to 4-0 at the 57:45 mark by scoring off a pass from

Hillary Gallego (Jr., Arlington, Texas, Mansfield Summit HS) at the 67:48 mark.
Hajicek finished off her hat trick with an unassisted goal at the 70:09 point. Her team-leading fourth goal of the year gave the program its first hat trick since Jessica Marshall scored three goals against Mount Marty (S.D.) on September 1, 2007.
Wink got into the action just 4:01 later with another unassisted score.
The Prairie Fire broke up the shutout in the final minutes, but

Penn kept constant pressure on the Knox defense with a 33-7 edge in shots, including a team-best eight by Wink. Dickey added six, while Hajicek and Larson both finished with five shots each.
Lauren Terrell (So., Chandler, Ariz., Chandler HS) picked up four saves in her first collegiate experience as a goalkeeper.
