Oskaloosa--Lauren Terrell (So., Chandler, Ariz., Chandler HS) had her third multi-goal performance of the year as the Lady Statesmen soccer team dropped Mount Mercy 2-0 in Midwest Collegiate Conference action Saturday.

Terrell (7-9-1, 2-5-1 MCC) gave the hosts the lead at the 37:58 mark when she scored off a pass from Erin Dickey (Sr., Collinsville, Ill., Southwestern Ill. CC). The assist is Dickey's second of 2009.

The sophomore tacked on another goal right after the break by scoring in the 49th minute via a pass from Melisa Wink (So., Brookfield, Ill., Lyons Township HS), who now has a team-best five assists this fall.

Terrell, who has scored a squad-high nine goals, led Penn with six shots, while Dickey and Erika Larson (Fr., Plain City, Utah, Fremont HS) had five shots each. The Lady Statesmen nearly doubled up the Mustangs in shots with a 23-12 edge.

Kristen Dolen (Sr., Independence, Mo., William Chrisman HS) notched six saves for her first shutout of the year.

Next: Penn will enter the MCC Tournament as the #7 seed and must wait to see who it will face on the road in the quarterfinal round next Sunday.
