Des Moines--The Penn volleyball team faced off against Grand View for the second time in just over two weeks and unfortunately the result was the same as the #7 seed Lady Statesmen were swept in three games by the #2 seed Vikings in the first round of the Midwest Collegiate Conference Tournament Saturday.

Penn's 2009 campaign ends at 23-20 overall with scores of 22-25, 14-25, 15-25. Grand View (24-13) will now host #3 seed Viterbo Wednesday.
