Oskaloosa--As part of the NAIA's Champions of Character initiative, members of the William Penn University Cheer Squad hosted a free cheer clinic.
Approximately 50 girls from kindergarten to third grade attended the October 23rd clinic which was held at the old Grant Elementary school building. The girls were members of Girl Scout troops from around the southeastern Iowa region, including troops from Sigourney-Keota, Bloomfield, and Oskaloosa. Attendees were taught cheers, chants, and jumps.
