Wichita State (Kan.) took first place with 8,709 pins, while Webber International (Fla.) was second with a pin count of 8,609. Jessica Baker of Wichita State claimed top bowler honors with a 206.2 average.
Underwood led the Lady Statesmen by tying for tenth out of 123 competitors with a 185.3 average. The junior tied the program's single-game record by picking up 226 pins in her first game.
Morgan Fest (Jr., Salt Lake City, Utah, Weber State) was strong in her season debut, tying for 24th with a 165.2 average.
Sarah Randles (Fr., Las Vegas, Nev., Shadow Ridge HS) also bowled in all six games, placing 36th with a 160.2 average.
Samantha Powell (Fr., Herriman, Utah, Bingham HS) posted a 173.6 average in five games, while
Leah Early (Fr., Cedar Rapids, Jefferson HS) averaged 151.0 pins in three games.
Abigayle Wempen (Fr., Titonka, North Iowa HS) recorded 151.5 pins in two games, while
Britney Cherry (Fr., South Beloit, Ill., Plainfield HS), with 159 pins, and
Anna Groat (Fr., Council Bluffs, Jefferson HS), with 150 pins, played in just one game.
