Penn (8-7) outshot the Stars 46.2%-33.3% and forced its opponent into 32 turnovers in the rout. The home team held a massive 34-4 edge in points off turnovers.

Chicas and Samantha Darley (Jr., Gilbert, Ariz., Mesa CC), who was one of three Lady Statesmen with four points, dished out a contest-best four assists each, while five players had three steals

Penn recorded a season-high 20 thefts against the Stars (7-4) and outrebounded them 43-32. Janice Adams (Sr., Chicago, Ill., Austin HS) scored just three points, but led her squad with six rebounds.
