Oskaloosa--The Statesmen wrestling team has a new leader in the polls as the fourth NAIA wrestling rating was released today.

As a team, Penn is 24th with 5.5 points. Notre Dame (Ohio) is once again leading the nation, far ahead of the field with 150 points. Great Falls (Mont.) is now second with 94 points, while Missouri Valley is third with 86.5 points. Lindenwood (Mo.) moves into the top five at #4 (85.5 points), while Southern Oregon is fifth with 76 points.

Fellow Iowa institution Grand View is eighth with 44 points, while Morningside is 16th with 18 points and Northwestern is 19th with 14.5 points.

Matt Chustz (Sr., Manassas Park, Va., Manassas Park HS) is the only Penn wrestler ranked nationally, moving into the 125-pound weight class rating at #8.

Penn is also eighth as a team in the Central Qualifying Group poll with 29.5 points. Missouri Valley is again first with 207 points, while Grand View is second with 176.5 points and Oklahoma City is third with 124 points.

Chustz tops the short list of Statesmen grapplers who are rated in the Group as the senior is second. Dustin Howa (Sr., Price, Utah, Carbon HS) is also ranked, holding the third position at 141 pounds.
