The junior owns a 3.60 GPA in computer science
Oskaloosa--Cory Sheeley (Jr., Oskaloosa, Oskaloosa HS)
was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete.
Entering the spring, Sheeley owned a 3.60 Grade Point Average in computer science. It is his second career Scholar-Athlete award.
The NAIA announced that 91 men's golfers were awarded the laurel.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must be of at least junior academic standing, maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, and have attended the nominating institution for at least one full academic year.
