Courtney Kronmuller, the daughter of Bill and Lynne Kronmuller, is a native of Fountain Valley, Calif., and comes to Penn from Fullerton CC.
As a member of the Fullerton golf team for one season, Kronmuller led her team at the OEC Finals by placing fifth overall (25 players).
An alum of Mater Dei HS, she earned second-team all-league honors once. Kronmuller was also a member of a CIF championship team. A strong scholar, she was a member of the National Art Honors Society, the California Scholarship Federation, and was the Commissioner for the ASB Renaissance.
"Courtney is an established player and she proved her skills on her recruiting visit," Steinlage said. "She will be one of the top newcomers in our conference this year."
Aubrey Leasure, the daughter of Brad and Kim Bakker, is a native of St. Peter, Minn., and most recently played golf at St. Peter HS. She attended North Central University in Minnesota for the past two years, but the school did not offer golf.
A two-year captain at St. Peter HS, Leasure medaled in multiple tournaments throughout her high school career. A National Honor Society member, she graduated with a 4.0 GPA and was the Student Representative on the School Board. Leasure served as the President for the Ecology Club and Secretary for the Student Council as well.
"Aubrey has been away from competitive golf for the past two years, but I am confident she can get back to her high school form and really help us," Steinlage said.
Amanda Paceley, the daughter of David and Jamie Paceley, is a native of Higley, Ariz., and comes to Penn from South Mountain CC.
As a freshman at South Mountain, Paceley helped her team to a national tournament appearance. She owned a scoring average of 85 during her junior college tenure.
Golf was added as an interscholastic sport at Higley HS when Paceley was a sophomore and she immediately took leadership of the squad. The team's top player and team captain all three years, she guided Higley to three state tournament appearances. Paceley was regional runner-up as a senior.
"We are fortunate to get Amanda as she contacted us very late in the recruiting season," Steinlage said. "She has proven herself throughout her career and I know she will be ready to post low scores for us this year."
Penn is in its third year as a reestablished program, finishing sixth in the MCC in 2008-2009.
