Defender
Frankie Sullivan (So., Essex, England, Shenfield HS) and goalkeeper
Sam Gurski (So., Beaumont, Texas, West Brook HS) were both named to the league's honorable-mention squad.
A total of 31 athletes were honored by the MCC, including 14 first-teamers and 17 honorable mentions.
The duo guided the Statesmen to a 5-11-2 record (3-4-1 MCC). While the offense struggled to produce just 23 goals, the defense kept the navy and gold in many games, holding seven opponents to one goal or less.
Sullivan, who collected his second career honorable mention, was sidelined with a foot injury for much of the year. Despite only playing the final nine games of the campaign, he earned the laurel by helping William Penn to allow just 1.73 goals per contest in those games (4-4-1 record).
Gurski owned a 4-9-2 record with a 2.10 Goals Against Average this fall. The sophomore made 93 saves and posted two shutouts. He limited opponents to one goal or less six times.
Luis Heitor-Piffer of Grand View was named MCC Player of the Year for the second year in a row, while Javier Ramirez of Ashford garnered Newcomer of the Year honors. Amir Hadzic of Mount Mercy claimed the Coach of the Year award for the second-straight season.
