Oskaloosa--William Penn University spirit squad coach Kristin Libby has announced the signings of three individuals to scholarship agreements to attend the University in the fall and compete for the cheerleading program.

  Chanon Opstvedt, Kinzy Shaw, and Elizabeth Wright are all transfers from Indian Hills CC in Ottumwa.

  Opstvedt, the daughter of Brian and Sandy Opstvedt, is originally from Story City and was an Indian Hills cheerleader from 2004-2006. Also the captain of her high school squad at Roland-Story HS, Opstvedt was the vice president of the student council and was also on the cheer honor squad.

  Shaw, the daughter of Christopher and Debra Shaw, is originally from Ottumwa and was also a cheerleader at Indian Hills from 2004-2006. While at Ottumwa HS, Shaw was a member of the Torch Club and was also an honor roll student.

  Wright, the daughter of Mike and Sandra Hemm, is from Fort Worth, Texas and was a Texas scholar at Southwest HS.
