Dexter Tobie enters his first year as student assistant volleyball coach at Penn.
The Bolingbrook, Ill. native came to the University as a soccer player two years ago and competed on the pitch in 2008 and 2009.
Majoring in physical education with an emphasis in coaching, Tobie was introduced to the game of volleyball in 2004 when he joined his high school team. Since then, he has helped coach club teams and run high school camps.
