Nik Rule is in his second year as head women's golf coach.
He has guided one player to all-Midwest Collegiate Conference recognition and two to academic all-conference honors.
Rule, a recent graduate of William Penn in May 2010 with a degree in US Government/Pre-Law and Communications-Public Relations, was a permanent fixture on Penn's varsity golf squad from 2006-2009. He owned a career scoring average of 77.8 over 36 playing rounds, highlighted by a 2008-2009 campaign in which he averaged 76.5 in 11 rounds.
A two-sport athlete at the University, Rule was one of the best soccer players in school history, earning three first-team all-conference awards on the pitch. He was also named Midwest Collegiate Conference Newcomer of the Year as a freshman in 2005.
Learning the game of golf at a young age from his grandfather, the Idaho Falls, Idaho native began working at Sage Lakes Golf Course in high school and over the span of five years, learned invaluable content on the game. In addition to assisting with the operation of the pro shop, Rule helped teach lessons to golfers of all skill levels.
A four-year varsity member at Skyline High School, Rule received his team's Player of the Year laurel as a senior. He has won numerous golf tournaments in his career and participated in the 2008 Idaho State Amateur Tournament.
Rule is also the Public Relations Coordinator at Musco Sports Lighting.
