Oskaloosa--Nick Reynolds (Sr., Riverton, Utah, Iowa Western CC) was undoubtedly one of the top runners in the league this fall and he was recognized for his efforts as the all-Midwest Collegiate Conference men's cross country teams were announced Tuesday.

Dubuque--Nick Reynolds (Sr., Riverton, Utah, Iowa Western CC) tried valiantly to continue his collegiate cross country career, but he unfortunately came up just short at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championships Saturday.

The four William Penn University Athletic Hall of Fame inductees of 2011 feature a football player called "a nice guy, until he took the field", a softball pitcher who hurled the Lady Statesmen to their first national tournament, a golfer who ignited a resurgence in Penn's spring sport and a basketball player who didn't score much, but helped others so much the team won a conference championship.

Lamoni--In their final tune-up before the league championships in two weeks, the William Penn harriers were back on the course Saturday competing at the Graceland Yellowjacket Classic.

Oskaloosa--William Penn University has been honored with the NAIA Champions of Character Five Star award for the 2010-2011 school year as the national list was announced last week.
