Oskaloosa--Adriaan de Villiers (Sr., Akasia, South Africa) was honored for his excellence in the classroom as he was named a 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Men's Golf Scholar-Athlete.

Oskaloosa--Statesmen men's golfer Adriaan de Villiers (Sr., Akasia, South Africa, Industrial Technology) wrapped up a strong collegiate career with his first league honor as the 2012-2013 all-Midwest Collegiate Conference men's golf teams were announced Frfiday.

Polk City--The Statesmen men's golf team played one last swan song for its coach and two seniors as it competed at the Grand View Viking Classic last Friday.

Silvis, Ill.--The Statesmen men's golf team concluded its 2012-2013 campaign with a tough showing at the Midwest Collegiate Conference Championships Friday and Saturday.
