On Saturday, August 21, the Lady Statesmen softball team will be holding its 2nd Annual Glow Ball Fundraiser at Edmundson Golf Course.  The fundraiser will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the first nine holes played during the daylight.  A meal will then be served followed by the final nine holes played with glow-in-the-dark balls at night.

A portion of the proceeds raised will be given to the Doug and Dana Atkins family, whose daughter Kayla was recently diagnosed with cancer.  Kayla is the sister of current softball player Kara Atkins.
