After Graduation:

Head coach in football, basketball, track, and baseball beginning in 1930. Called "The Wonder-Man of the Iowa Conference" by the Des Moines Register after Penn went undefeated in 1930, giving up one TD in the first half of the first game, then finished the season unscored upon.
