As A Statesmen:

NAIA All-American in 1976. Two-time first-team all-Iowa Conference selection. Two-time all-district pick. Tied for fourth all-time in football history with 164 points (27 touchdowns, two extra points). One of just 14 players to score 100 points or more in his career. Tied for the sixth-most touchdowns in a season. Broke the school record for touchdown receptions in a career (15) and is one of 24 players to rush for over 1,000 yards in a career. Tied for second in career receiving yards (1,548). Helped Penn to a 33-7-1 record in his four years. Part of two IIAC championship teams and one NAIA playoff team.
