As A Statesmen:

NAIA honorable-mention District 15 performer in 1973.  Played 31 consecutive games.  Helped the team defeat Emporia State in the Boot Hill Bowl.  Tallied 176 tackles, 25 sacks, five blocked passes, four fumble recoveries, and one blocked punt.  Scored two defensive touchdowns.  Team captain.  Two-time game MVP.

After Graduation:

Signed a two-year contract with the New England Patriots as an outside linebacker and longsnapper.  Also played semi-pro in New York and Philadelphia for four years.
