As A Statesmen:

Four-year starter on the basketball team. Two-time all-Iowa Conference performer. All-district selection. School record-holder for single-season (345) and career (988) rebounds. Member of the 1,000-point club with 1,090 career points, which ranks him 13th at the time of induction. Helped his team to a 66-38 record in his tenure, including the team's first-ever 20-win season and first trip to the NAIA playoffs. Played in 104 games and was in double figures 48 times with nine games of 20 points or more.

After Graduation:

While receiving his Master's at George Brown College in Canada, he helped the team to two national championships.
