Two-time first-team all-conference tackle. NAIA All-American in 1969 and 1970. Competed in College All-Star Game in Chicago. Also lettered and set the school record in the shot put in track and field.
After Graduation:
Drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs. Played 14 years in the NFL. All-Pro. 2002 inductee in NAIA Hall of Fame.
