Bio

Jaewon Kim is in his first year as an assistant in the Sports Medicine department, working primarily with the men’s soccer team.

Prior to joining WPU, Kim gained extensive professional soccer experience, serving as an Athletic Training student with the Utah Royals of the NWSL and Real Salt Lake Academy, as well as a Certified Athletic Trainer for the Suwon FC U-16 team in the K-League.

His collegiate experience includes covering NCAA Division I football and women's soccer at Weber State University.  Additionally, Kim completed an internship at Camp Woodward, where he provided athletic training coverage for extreme sports camps.

Kim is a 2026 graduate of Weber State University with a Master’s in Athletic Training.  He also has an undergraduate degree from Kyung Hee University in South Korea, majoring in Sports Medicine and Golf Industry.

Kim is Board Certified and holds additional certifications, including the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine and Certified Personal Trainer (NSCA).
