Langenfeld Named Heart Cheerleader of the Week

Oskaloosa--Madi Langenfeld (So., Oswego, Ill., Education) led her team to a pair of wins last week, and for her efforts she was named Heart of America Athletic Conference Cheerleader of the Week Monday.

Langenfeld claimed her first weekly award after leading William Penn at the Mount Mercy Mustang Invitational Sunday.

The sophomore helped WPU take the opening round with a score of 81.58.  The Statesmen also won the second competition, doing so with a score of 87.00.  With a teammate sidelined by injury, Langenfeld stepped up and added an additional running pass in William Penn's winning routines.

The honor is the first for WPU this year.
