Keykal, Huston Earn NAIA Scholar-Athlete Honors
Oskaloosa--Two members of the William Penn men's bowling team were recognized for their academic excellence by being named 2024-2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes recently.
Leading the way academically was Bryce Keykal (Sr., Princeton, Minn., Secondary Education), who posted a 3.73 GPA as the spring semester began.
Close behind him was Cooper Huston (Jr., Durant, Iowa, Sports Management), who earned a solid 3.58 GPA, reflecting his strong academic performance.
For Keykal, this marks the third time receiving the prestigious award, while Huston is being honored for the first time.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport's eligibility paperwork.
