Quintet Grab Scholar-Athlete Honors

Oskaloosa--A total of five Statesmen men's bowlers were honored for their excellence in the classroom as they were named 2025-2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.

Ty Krueger (So., Sigourney, Iowa, Exercise Science) leads the navy and gold athletes with a 3.90 Grade Point Average entering this spring.

Brock Alderson (So., Sigourney, Iowa, Applied Computer Science) is next at 3.87, while Cooper Huston (Sr., Durant, Iowa, Sports Management) follows behind at 3.68.

Ethan Zieglowsky (Sr., Washington, Iowa, Biology) (3.51) and Ethan Licht (So., Victor, Iowa, Sports Management) (3.50) also claim the recognition.

Keykal is now a two-time honoree, while Krueger, Alderson, Zieglowsky, and Licht are honored for the first time.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport's eligibility paperwork.
