Flush with new talent to join its returning stars, the Statesmen men's golf team is poised to make a push up the standings in 2025-2026.
Under second-year head coach Darin Fisher, William Penn placed seventh in the Heart of America Athletic Conference a year ago.
Guiding the returning crew is Tyler Pedretti (So., Upland, Calif., Business Management), who posted an 80.7 average (low of 72) in 2024-2025. He will be flanked by Alvaro Rodriguez (Fr., Gijon, Spain, Business Management) (81.0 avg.), Timothy Wacker (So., Gilbert, Ariz., Psychology) (81.4), and Will Schwartz (Jr., Florissant, Mo., Biology) (84.0).
A trio of incoming freshmen will highlight the new class, including Samuel Arnaud (Saint-Maur-des-Fosses, France, Biology), Archie Branks (Sydney, Australia, Sports Management), and Mario Palain (Zaragoza, Spain, Business Management).

William Penn will open its five-tournament fall campaign Monday and Tuesday at the Missouri Valley Invitational in Marshall, Mo. The Statesmen will also host the Statesmen Invitational at TPC Deere Run on October 13-14 before wrapping up the autumn at the Heart Preview on October 21-22.
