McQuade, Campbell Sweep Heart Accolades

Oskaloosa--Daniel McQuade (Sr., Tucson, Ariz., Political Science) and Bryce Campbell (Jr., Boise, Idaho, Exercise Science) each produced incredible performances in their team's lone game, and were rewarded for those efforts by being named Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Players of the Week Monday, presented by BoxOut.

McQuade was named Heart Offensive Player of the Week, while Campbell claimed the league's Defensive POW award.  Both individuals are first-time recipients of the weekly honors.  They collected their recognition after helping William Penn to a lopsided 28-1 victory over Ottawa (Kan.) last Friday.

McQuade enjoyed one of the most prolific offensive performances in program history, tying the school record with 10 goals.  The senior, who scored seven times in the second quarter alone, also managed an assist.

Campbell was also a catalyst in WPU's dominance by winning 18 of his 23 faceoffs, while tallying seven ground balls as well.

For the year, McQuade has 10 goals, one assist, and one caused turnover, while Campbell is 31-for-44 in faceoffs in addition to 11 ground balls.

William Penn now has three weekly league awards.
