Putzier Claims Third Laurel of 2025

Oskaloosa--Breck Putzier (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn., Exercise Science) parlayed yet another big week into league recognition as he was named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week Monday, presented by BoxOut.

Now a nine-time career winner (three this season), Putzier helped William Penn (7-3, 6-0 Heart) to two Heart victories.

The senior opened up with five goals and four assists against Missouri Valley last Tuesday.  He also notched four ground balls and three caused turnovers.

Three days later against Columbia, Putzier eclipsed double figures in points (13) by scoring five goals alongside eight assists.  He collected five ground balls as well.

For the year, Putzier leads WPU with 42 goals, 50 assists, and 92 points.  He has also posted 36 ground balls and 12 caused turnovers.  The senior has tallied at least one goal and one assist in every game this year, and has hit the double-digit mark in points four times (high of 15).

WPU has now won five weekly awards this year.
