With significant talent returning and entering, the William Penn women's bowling team is ready for success in the 2023-2024 campaign.

In her third year at the helm, Head Coach Kirstin Foster has a squad that is coming off a second-place finish in the Heart of America Athletic Conference and a trip to the NAIA National Championship.

After averaging 183.4 pins per game last year, Gabi Evans (Sr., West Liberty, Iowa, Psychology and Sociology) has returned for a fifth campaign and is focused on finishing big.  She was a second-team all-Heart pick in 2022-2023.

Madison Ross (Sr., Charles City, Iowa, Exercise Science) is also back for a fifth season.  A first-team all-league selection a year ago, she owned an average of 183.7 pins.

Caitlin Radliff (So., Belleville, Ill., Software Engineering), with a 189.7 average, was another first-teamer last season.

Cydnee Whiteleather (Jr., Lehigh Acres, Fla., Elementary Education), at 179.6, and Christy Mottier (Sr., Madison, Wis., Business Management), at 171.1, also bolster the returning crew.

Transfer Sammantha Meyers (Jr., Rockford, Ill., Elementary Education) and freshman Lucy Mitchell (Poulsbo, Wash.) are expected to be big contributors in their first campaigns in the navy and gold.

Schedule: The Statesmen begin the campaign Saturday and Sunday at the Midwest Collegiate Championship in Wauwatosa, Wis.

The team has a long campaign ahead of it, including going to Las Vegas in December for the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational and the Las Vegas Collegiate Shoot-Out and wrapping up the regular season at the Hoosier Classic in February.
