Four Net Scholar-Athlete Awards

Oskaloosa--Four members of the William Penn women's golf team were honored for their excellence in the classroom as they were named 2023-2024 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes Monday.

Carlee Frayne (Sr., Garner, Iowa, Sports Management) headlines the quartet with a 3.86 Grade Point Average entering the spring semester, while Bliss Martin (So., Hamilton, Ill., Biology) held a 3.83 GPA.

Olivia Lange (Jr., Buckeburg, Germany, Business Management), at 3.51, and Olivia Cramer (Jr., Lawton, Mich., Civil Engineering), at 3.50, also hit the mark.

The recognition is the third for Frayne and the second for Cramer, while Lange and Martin are first-time honorees.

A total of 400 women's golfers from within the NAIA were awarded the laurel.

To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport's eligibility paperwork.
