Trio Claim Scholar-Athlete Awards
Oskaloosa--Three William Penn women's track and field athletes were honored for their excellence in the classroom as they were named 2025-2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.
Lilly Ostert (Jr., Madrid, Iowa, Exercise Science) highlights the crew with a 3.75 Grade Point Average.
Ellysse Johns (So., Houston, Texas, Psychology), at 3.66, and Briana Admire (Jr., Galesburg, Ill., Biology), at 3.56, also meet the criteria for the honor.
The award is the second for Ostert and admire, while Johns is a first-time recipient.
To be eligible for the award, athletes must maintain a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or above on a 4.0 scale, have attended the nominating institution for one full year prior to nomination, and must appear on the sport's eligibility paperwork.
