The William Penn men's bowling team returns to the lanes seeking another successful campaign as it embarks on the 2023-2024 season.

Head Coach Cameron Foster enters his third season with a squad that won the Heart of America Athletic Conference crown a year ago.

Conor Fetherston (So., Dublin, Ireland, Software Engineering) looks to guide the returning crew after earning the league's Newcomer of the Year laurel last season.  He averaged 199.4 pin per game as a freshman.

Fellow all-Heart performer Jared Smith (Sr., Oskaloosa, Iowa, General Accounting) is also back on the boards after posting a 196.9 average in 2022-2023.

Bryce Keykal (Jr., Princeton, Minn., Education), at 189.3, Kody Sapp (Sr., Donnelson, Iowa, Sociology), at 187.5, and Coleton Jacobson (Sr., West Jordan, Utah, Exercise Science), at 179.2, all return with considerable varsity experience, while Garraty Richmond (Sr., Ottumwa, Iowa, New Media) has made significant improvements and will also be a boost to the squad.

Freshman Aidan Piet (Meridian, Idaho, Business Management) won the preseason trials to earn a spot on the varsity team, while fellow first-year individuals Mathew Smith (Fr., Mountain Home, Idaho, Business Management) and Noah Kidwell (Fr., Bettendorf, Iowa, Mechanical Engineering) are expected to play big parts for the Statesmen this year as well.

Schedule: The Statesmen begin the campaign Saturday and Sunday at the Midwest Collegiate Championship in Wauwatosa, Wis.

The team has a long campaign ahead of it, including going to Las Vegas in December for the Glenn Carlson Las Vegas Invitational and the Las Vegas Collegiate Shoot-Out and wrapping up the regular season at the Hoosier Classic in February.
